no not really; i know most of you are already getting you plane tickets or possibly on your way to my house already but no... that was a joke.

oddness aside - i screwed up.
i forgot that my video assignement was due on friday - yeah the one that just past.
i mean; i'm pretty much done with everything - its just that i was thinking about it the other day - the friday it was due; and asking myself when it was going to BE due....

i'm such a dumbass

also the lecuturer springs us the point that we have to have "non copyrighted music".

crap - how am i supposed to get a non copyrighted version of "smells like teen spirit"?
so this morning - more like afternoon; i locked myself in my parent's room, soundproofed it so no sound can get inside, got one of the Karaoke mics ("one of the"? yeah we have more than one), my acoustic guitar and opened up Garage band.

i looked for some drum loops that might resemble the beat in the actual song; i did. i hooked up the Mic and got the guitar, got the chords for the song and pressed record.

it sounded like crap. but i had no time for timbaland refinements.
i then got the Mic and recorded my singing voice :S

in the end; i put it all together and it sounded pretty listenable.
so i put it in the timeline of my AfterEffects file. i did some small tweaking and rendered out to see how it was - synching and the animation itself.
it was alright but the criteria stated for it to be compressed using another type - not the usual quicktime one. so i clicked on the new compressor and an error thinie popped up.

There isnt any writer for this compressor... yadda yadda

you cant be serious - i cant even publish this so i can submit it?! this is ARSE.

so i just tried to export using another compressor - just to see if it was all working.
it was; but there was one thing missing. the grunge overlay (to make it look like an old movie)

so i saved it and got the layer which had the overlay and moved it above the camera.
but once i clicked out - all hell broke loose. well just one thing happened.

IT FROZE.

the freaking program froze - i couldnt do anything; i could click and open up the other windows that i had open but AfterEffects wasnt responding.
WHY DO YOU DO THIS TO ME WINDOWS?!?!
after many failed tries; i just gave up.

so i just got my pencil and started to draw some storyboards for the animation. i know i was supposed to do it beforehand but i kinda did - but not in the form that's acceptible.

after i was done; i got back on the Mac and just "walked around" - so to speak - in the web. i found out that Ryan Terarc (superstar) was on blogTV so i joined and watched his playful antics and intelligent banter streaming live on my computer screen.
at that time; Steveninbay was also on BTV and i momentarily left the confines or Ryan's BlogTv to go stalk steven. I cohosted with him and he Ate his last TimTam on the show; he slammed it with Hot water... i told him to atleast do it with tea. anyway; he had to go and i went back, like a prodigal son, to ryan's channel.

Ryan did one of his patented Terarc Interviews on one his cohosts "Not_June". it was fun but i had this MASSIVE LAG.
he then asked me if *I* wanted to cohost with him - i said yeah sure ok and interviewed me.

when i say interviewed; i mean tried to converse through a MASSIVE LAG that debilitated Ryan's ability to hear me good enough to know what i was saying and on top of that; know when i stopped talking.

so in ryan's words; "EPIC FAIL" *does hand motion*

so he eventually said goodbye and i was again left to roam the internets...

nothing much happened; i ended up downloading more MAME roms and eventually got Marvel Super Heroes and Marvel vs Capcom to work.

oh and also i watched the "Awesome Series" in newgrounds... omgosh EgoRaptor is a FUNNY GUY.

so yeah; i played some MAME, mortal kombat3, metal slug, etc.

Terry called and i talked to him for a bit; somehow our conversations lately revolve around hot girls. he then consequently keeps sending me pictures of girls he "meets" on Facebook. good for you Tez.

so it's 2:27am on a sunday - in around 5-6 hours im supposed to wake up and be getting ready for church. i think all this skyping has made me adjust to either the UK time zone - cos seriously; i woke up at around... 2 ish - that's 5am in Wales. right now it's 5:30pm there; i could probably be able to stay up till around 8 which is about 11pm Brit. Time.

wow... that's sad ralph.

anyway; i gotta get going - i dont want to end up falling asleep during the sermon.
