Moving Out

i want to move out of my parent's house.

not because i hate it here - it's because it sucks having to live so far away from work.
and also i want a taste of independence before i come crawling back to mum's home cooking (hopefully not too soon).

well, i found this awesome place that's basically a stone's throw from work and it's only $650 a month. basically with that, i can still pay for my bills (phone and other repayments) and still have some money spare for groceries and a possible internet bill. it's a Bedsit or a Studio apartment so it's roughly a room with a kitchen... well not that small anyway.

but sadly, as i was trolling around looking for other options, i couldn't find this property. i googled the exact address and i saw that it had been removed by the advertiser.

does that mean that it's been rented out?

probably.

Dammit!

should i take this as a sign from God? dont leave home yet?

but it SUUUCKS having to wake up at 7 in the morning and spend around an hour to get to work! even if i do get a car, it's still the same time frame; and it'd be more cost effective for me if i just took the Train.

Dammit - i wish i had my license already so i could consider some of the (not as) cheap apartments in the nearby Suburbs...

maybe that's what i need to do.

1. Get License and a Car
2. Get Apartmet
3. Live it up :P

i wouldnt mind having something like this (but with a kitchenette)

Move out! Being on your own, you definitely learn a lot about yourself.
And $600 for a studio?! I don't know the currency conversion from AUD to USD but that seems so expensive, but I guess it's a compromise to be closer to the city.
I recently moved into a studio (downsized from my previous 1 bedroom apt) and I actually like it a lot better.
